What to eat before a PT test

I need help on what to eat before a PT test which demands a 2 mile run within 16:00, 35 pushups in under 2:00, and 47 situps in under 2:00.

What should I eat for breakfast? I will be waking up at 8:00 AM and the test will start probably around 9:30 or 10:00 AM.

What EXACTLY should I be eating? Examples if possible. I have alot of different kinds of food. I need ENERGY, cause I might not be able to pull off the 16:00 2 mile so i'm going to have to really push it. I've been eating alot of carbs the past day. Thanks

Your breakfast choice will make a small difference on a short 2 mile run. If your time is borderline, it will come down to how hard you can push yourself. Also, make sure you are properly hydrated at least 24 hours prior. In my Marine days I routinely ran hungover with an empty stomach. Those were not my brightest years. I prefer whole wheat bagel and a banana.

no offense but that sounds insanely easy for anyone in shape. like... yeah. eat just a normal breakky man. Load on some carbs to give you boost if you think you'll need it.

ps: that breakfast does sound yummy. though not too sure about the milk if you are not in shape, trying to run on milk and stuff is going to make you sick if this pushes you to the limit.

It is easy. The only guys who ever failed when I was in the Army were guys that were overweight, and even than most of them passed. They have even dropped the standards to make it easier.

oats are good, most important carb up the night before pasta/spaghetti etc. Have a light breakfast with an apple. get the supplement ginsing(or korean ginsing) not much difference-for better oxygen utilization.

on a lesser note wouldnt hut to crush a red bull before it.. Just keep you stomach partially empty cause you will get sick if you gorge on oatmeal..
