At What Ages Can You Up the DHEA Dose?
I heard from a bunch of people that said start taking small doses of DHEA when you turn 25. So I did and man did it rule. I started at 25 mg once/day and felt noticeably good. When I tried it twice/day, I didn't feel so good. My stomach was kind of churning and stuff, so I went back to just once. I'm almost 30 now, can I up the dose now without a likelihood of that nauseous feeling? And how much is a good dose when I hit 40 etc.?

You may experiencing placebo.
I remember Terumo absolutely tore into DHEA. And 25 is an unfamiliar number to me (for its association). Most of those who tout it argue it's best for guys over 40.

But werent there studies sayin DHEA, not necessarily on a "muscle" level, but improved your health in the long run? I remember readin somethin awhile back...

DHEA gets a lot of scrutiny because in the beginning it was thought to do something no one could get it to do in numerous clinical trials. But that doesn't mean it has no benefits whatsoever. It converts readily into every sex hormone in the body (though it doesn't single out testosterone and specifically boost that alone), and over 150 ****bolites, and is one of the most potent substances in our bloodstream. It has benefits for healthy ****bolic function as well.
The 7-keto form of it does REALLY well for ****bolic function.
If a person is going to waste money (per se), wasting less than $10 for DHEA for slight health benefits is better than wasting over $50 for things that really do absolutely nothing.

I remember you writing this before.
Still, isn't it recommended for guys over 40 who've had significant hormonal drops?

Typically, but also don't forget how much the endocrine system gets taxed with heavy training. There is no detriment to me taking it for it's sattelite benefits because I work my body enough to benefit from it to some extent, and it's in-expensive.

True, true. I don't really need psyllium husk powder (same thing as ****mucil), but it's so damn cheap, and I don't minb it in my shakes, I get it anyway.
