Taken from a random website:
Dietary retinol is associated with fractures, beta carotene is not
Retinol is the direct form of vitamin A found in most multivitamins, cod liver oil, liver, fortified foods, and whole milk products. Beta carotene, which is converted to vitamin A by the body, is not associated with an increased risk of fracture. Beta carotene is found in carrots, tomatoes, cantaloupe, spinach and other fruits and vegetables.
Even though 3/4 of that is from beta carotene, that still seems like a helluva lot in that gnc multi. Keep in mind that's 3 tablets worth for one dose, so you could always cut it down by 1/3.
