TrueProtein special--which choice?

TrueProtein has a special running in honor of their unveiling their new site soon. They have this offer (excerpted from an e-mail):

"For the next 5 days, True Protein will award one pound of waxy maize starch, (the postworkout carbohydrate everyone is raving about) or one pound of Whey Protein Concentrate to anyone whose order totals over $ 50.00 (minus shipping)."

What do I go with? The WPC is a sure thing, but I'm not impressed by the one pound. The starch does have me intrigued, but it's a wildcard at this point, I haven't heard anyone around here comment on it for better or for worse, and the PWO shake is the last meal I want to be tampering with.

You input your option using a discount code. So, alternatively, I could just use the 5% off discount code that someone (Fat Wilhelm possibly?) has in their sig. Right now, I am leaning towards the 5% off... but the starch could be sweet. Any thoughts?

I'd give the starch a shot. If it dosen't work, you've lost nothing.

Well, I would have lost the benefits that I would have derived from using good ol' sugar in my PWO shake. Unless there is no harm in using both at once?

Now, the more I think about it, maybe I'll just get the whey. But damn, that starch really has my curiosity piqued.

I don't see how using both would hurt anything, you'd just have more carbs than usual.

Get the WMS and save it for when you run out of PWO powder. Next batch, use it in place of dextrose/malto.
