Too much whey

I use whey in my oatmeal in the morning, with my bananna sandwhich at lunch and PWO. Is this too much?

Not enough info.

How much protein is in a serving?
How many servings are you taking at once?
How much do you weight?
How much food protein are you taking in?

You can't answer your question without this info.

What bang said. You may be eating whey to little, or whey to much protein.

There's no whey we can find out unless you be more specific.

Mt bad about not being specific enough. Its 27 grams per serving of protein, and I weigh 140. Its just so easy to use you know.

You can't "OD" on whey just because it's whey. Whey's not much different than any other kind of food in terms of how you judge its nutritional value. You can, however, experience health problems from eating way too much protein (Like making it 95% of your caloric intake), plus the calories, etc can cause their own problems.

The general rule for bulking is .8-1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight per day. You're gettting 81 grams from whey alone. If you're bulking, you'll probably need some more protein yet, but it would probably be beneficial to cut back to 2 servings of whey per day and get the rest of your protein from real food (meat!).

I believe bulking is roughly 2x your BW in protein.

Dude, that's way more than necessary. As X said, 0.8-1 gram per pound is plenty.

I think you meant to say that's whey more then necessary. /shrug, I've heard 1.5 to 2 when in bulking phase. Hell, I don't even keep track of how much protein I take in, I know it's a shit ton though.
