Tito Ortiz interesting diet facts
In an interview with Tito on bodybuilding.com he lets slip some interesting facts about his diet....
What is your approach to nutrition?
I get to eat anything but fast foods and sodas. I have to stay away from greasy and fried foods.
Do you take any supplements?
No not at all. No supplements. I am just a big believer in a lot of raw foods. I eat a lot of vegetables including spinach - a lot of green stuff. Garlic also - just things that will keep my body healthy. I also eat about two-to-three-times-a-day
the full interview is at... http://bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson277.htm
i thought this is quite interesting because on the All access special he was saying that xyience and other supplements are very good for him because he cant always eat full meals...shows maybe how much an influence Xyience and the UFC influence and tell them what to do in these programs to shell their products.
Also found the part about him eating two to three times a day quite interesting, especially when we hear about athletes eating 6 meals a day etc...

Very strange indeed, I would certainly think that if anyone is doing "Supplements" it would be Tito with that ever growing head of his.

2 -3 meals a day doesn't sound adequate for someone his size at all.

Pros get set in a routine they like. Doesn't mean it's best for everyone, or even themselves, but if you examine any pro's diet/strength and conditioning program you will find "violations" of the typical rules.

Everybody should split what they eat in 6-8 meals (search the internet for explanation, bodybuilding.com). Most fighters have a shity diet, just take a look at the HW's : hunt, barnett, fedor, rico, butterbean, tank, big cat, min so kim... they are all not realy in a amazing shape. Yes I know Fedor doesn't have a diet and eats anything but therefore he has may other qualities that you don't have, so get a proper nutrition bitches.

Yeah, but Tito is in amazing shape, and he trains 3-4 hours a day just in MMA...so whatever it is he is doing is working for him.

Disagreed, 3 meals a day is still proper nutrition.
