Terumo, What's the Deal with Spike?

I asked you about this in another thread that got buried, but I figured Spike is of great enough interest it warrants it's own thread.

I saw you recommended it in your "Insane" cycle. But I don't understand why?

These are the listed ingredients:

SPIKE Formula, 473mg
Biotest® GBX [guarana-berry extract (containing theophylline and caffeine)], T-MAX™ [Biotest® proprietary thiamine di(2-methylpropionate) disulfide], natural caffeine, yohimbine HCl

Do you just like that it includes caffeine and yohimbine in one pill? Do you consider Yohimbine HCl that effective?

What do you know about "mystery" ingredient there? Supposedly, it's the key to Spike.

Here's a reprint of your pre-workout combos:

Hardcore combo, endurance workout: 1 serving PowerDrive, 200mg caffeine, 1 serving CytoMax, 1 very dilute serving Biotest Surge (during workout)

Insane combo, any workout: 1 serving PowerDrive, 1 serving Biotest Spike (2 hours prior), 300mg modafinil (at least 2 hours prior)

Im a big fan of spike for any type of endurance workout. I can easily go twice as long doing HIIT, and when i do do(heh) straight cardio, i feel like i can go forever.
I've only used spike maybe twice before doing weight training, and didn't see much of an effect.
The time when i feel spikes effects the most is after i finish my cardio. I'll get off the elliptical or the bike and feel like i'm ready to run a marathon.

Secret chemical x = thiamine di(2-methylpropionate) disulfide

Regardless, I like spike. two preworkout does the trick, but I can't use it habbitually or it just looses it's oomph after a week.

also for what it's worth, http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cmi/fire.html seems to contain secret chemical x as well and less caffeine, and it's billed as a fat loss product.

Further googling shows most pople consider this thiamine compound to be nootropic in nature, which is how spike makes the energetic + focused claim.

Stimulant X is also the same sort of thing, but the people on the bodybuilding.com boards seem to like it's effects better than Spike's.

I tried spike, didn't like it...got a free sample of StimX that I'm saving for a rainy day though so I can't comment on it.

I've heard about that stuff

Its like $35 for 90 servings (2 per day, but most reviews etc I've read say only take 1 a day). Thats the ephedrine version though, the non is about $5 cheaper

and BN have it for $24
