Teri Tom's book?

Hey guys, was waiting to see if anyone would post a thread about this, but was wondering if anyone in here has taken a look at Teri Tom's Martial Arts nutrition book?

Amazon.com: Martial Arts Nutrition: A Precision Guide to Fueling Your Fighting Edge (9780804839310): Teri Tom MS RD: Books

I usually nitpick most of my nutritional advice/recs from this forum and a few others, but was wondering how this might compare to say, Berardi's old Grappler's Nutrition?

Without reading it I couldn't tell ya. It could very well be just another person looking to jump on the bandwagon and cash in on the MMA explosion. That said, looking at the cover and description I didn't get that impression. It might actually be decent.

^Yeah, a friend had recommended it to me when it was still on pre-order, it looks like she does back some big fighters(Pacquiao and Arlovski for instance) for whatever that's worth though

The author's name is really familiar to me, but I can't quite place where I've seen it before. Frustrating...

If I'm not mistaken she is a JKD practitioner.I believe she contributes to Black Belt magazine & has written a few books on JKD as well.

Yeah! That's it! I think she wrote a book about the straight lead in JKD.
