I have been using taurine for over 7 years now. Cheap and effective. It is highly under rated.

It doesn't really look like there is anything negative that will come from it.
I ran out of taurine a year or so ago.

It's dirt cheap from the US but taxes and shipping mean I haven't bitten the bullet and bought it again

This is reassuring to hear. What sort of dosage do you take? I was thinking of going somewhere in the 15-20g/day range split into 3-4 doses (probably just gonna take 4-5g every time I take fish oil for convenience). I'd probably experiment with ramping it up or down as well. Obviously I'm over-complicating things..

5 grams pre workout, 5 grams before bed. that is how I do it, and about five of my clients as well.

I rank taurine on the same level as creatine and betaalanine in terms of effectiveness you can feel. You can really feel it improve your workouts if you take 5 grams preworkout. Plus that stuff is motherfuckin cheap.

I like to do it 5 grams perworkout, 5 grams during workout (in my drink) and 5 grams before sleep.

Thanks to all who replied to this thread, I put an order for Taurine in today, I'm looking forward to see how it pans out.
