Sushi
It may be common sense,..but how healthy is sushi?
I know the rice is a carb, but i tend to eat this...probably...3 to 4 times per week,...is this alrite? in terms of quantity I eat probably...2 rolls..for those of you who are familiar with sushi in one meal....right now im eating 3 meals a day, and im transitioning into the 6 meals....1 every 3 hours....so,..if i have say...1 roll as a meal is this bad? im trying to imagine how much rice is in a roll..probably...maybe 2 cups? maybe less...if this is common sense ...dont even bother to respond..haha

depends what you are eating. one roll is tiny. so that shouldnt be putting alot of weight on you, it really depends what your eating.
it'll range in whats good for you, from bad to good.
i.e.
cold chicken, good.
cold tuna, assorted fish, good.
eel, gooooooooood. (dont take my word on its dietary value or fat content im just an eel freak)
friend chicken and other shit - BAD
think healthy and you cant go wrong.

For beginners try california rolls. If you think you're comfortable with california roll and think you are ready for the bigger stuff, then try dynamite rolls, then if you realyl like it dont got for suhsi go for the sashimi...or salmon roll or salmon sushi or tuna roll etc etc...i eat sushi a lot my fav tho is sashimi..or salmon rolls. mMmm. I'm asian btw, so I could care less as to how much rice im eating. and 1 roll is nothing.

Eel good,..but that sauce they put on it is LOADED with salt....
im mainly a fish guy,..but again...i usually get it in roll form..meaning rice...
and occasionally ill get a crunchy shrimp roll which is shrimp and, cucumber, and some "mystery spicy sauce"..haha
Canadian champ,
for a first timer...they always say get a california roll, which is avocado, cucumber and crab meat...but thats pussy shit....people who eat that say theyre eating sushi and theyre not....its great to start out with,..its cheap...but its not sushi....you cant go wrong with salmon or tuna...either straight up over a ball over rice or in a roll form....for the most part youll find it very bland...its GETTING over the fact that its raw fish that is the challenging part....Eel is great..wonderful taste as the foz said...but its tough to get over the fact that it is eel....
good luck...pm me for some more advice...

I'm wondering if you guys just go in a restaurant, and just pay straight up for each roll.. Luckily for me, i have all you can eat sushi restaurants all over . It's not only sushi thats available..you guys should try the oyster, which is tasty but loaded with fat.. Also, i enjoy eating Alaskan rolls, scallop rolls, every damn roll there is. Mmm... BTW..whats wrong with california roll?..its pretty good... A pussy is someone who eats cucumber rolls.

all you can eat sushi places are kind of sketchy around here....rarely do reputable places offer all you can eat...mostly they have "all you can eat" sushi at chinese buffets which is absolutely horrible because you dont know how long it has been sitting out....and yes...california roll is for pussys....95% of the time its imitation crab meat..which is cooked fish...which isnt raw....and i like it raw...
