You should be fine as long as you keep it sealed and obviously unmixed. It may clump up but just give it a good shake to break it up.

A heaping spoonful is all the spoon can hold, so not leveled off. You should be fine with the recommended amount, taking too much will just be a waste as you can only absorb so much.

oh ok so the tea spoon would be something loike this? http://z.about.com/d/greekfood/1/5/Q...ee_measure.jpg By leveled off do you mean how high the powder rises? sorry, i jsut want to make sure i get the right amount,

also another thing that has been worrying me is that creatine's long terms side affects from what ive read could be kidney stones and hair loss. is there any truth to that? my family has both, and i defnitely dont want kidney stones.

Generally, when something says "heaping teaspoon," you don't have to be TOO particular about how much you're measuring. It's really not going to make a difference whether you get 4.762 grams or 6.10012 grams. "Heaping teaspoon" is a rough approximation for 5 grams.

most of the side effects of creatine are a result of poor hydration. As long as you are drinking enough water, you should be fine.

I have never heard about hair loss

ALso, someone told me take creatine with water like 15 minutes after you workout.
I always thought a teaspoon was a little baby spoon.
or is it like thos one? http://www.wpclipart.com/medical/ped...n_medicine.png
