dude are you crazy? 200 mg is bad dont take any more then 150 mg of co q 10,I dont get why people keep thinking they will see a big difference when they take supps. they work you just dont feel miraculously different.

Man I am still wondering how the hell they got PVL whey gourmet at that walmart.

PVL is one of my favorite Proteins Anyone who hasnt tasted it should get some at walmart! I would buy 5 bottles if I had that at my walmart.

I dont see any problem with taking 200mg ones, they are the cheapest one per dose is why I bought them. Also I notice NO difference with them. For $20 a month there are a ton of other supplements you could be taking..

Do you have any real articles as to why 200mg is bad? I'd never even heard of 30/50mg doses until this thread to be honest..

In comparison to fish oil, ZMA, multi, etc. I noticed next to nothing from CoQ10. Just saying if you are on a budget there are better things you can buy...

edit: And if 200mg is so bad, why is it so common?

Yes, this morning I definitely felt bloated during my workout. However, this being the first time on these supplements, I felt great in the gym. I definitely felt a difference (maybe the all-day energy pills) today and nailed out my workout with alot of energy left to burn, unfortunately I had to head to work, and I was bouncing off the goddamn walls there too...

Here's what supps I took this morning, excluding the pills I listed in my previous post:

Glutamine shake / Creatine pills pre-workout
Whey Protein / Glutamine shake post workout

(PS: I've decided to just take the Creatine shakes instead of the pills after today, at pre-workout, post-workout, afternoon, and evening.)

Are you saying that I should be taking a protein shake pre-workout as well? So far the information I've been following is listed at bodybuildingforyou.com for Creatine, Whey, and Glutamine. Are these directions counter-productive to my goals of fat-loss, being that this is a bodybuilding site, or will the produce decent results?

I'm going to give it a try, and also I agree - the Whey Protein tastes fantastic! It sure beats the Weider 90% I was taking before, that tasted like a shitty ass.

DAMN, those prices are high as hell! All those products in my walmart are at least $10 bucks less a tub, that 6-star is only $15.99 here. Where do you live? Perhaps ordering offline would be better for you, you could get better quality suppls. for around the same price.

He's in Canada, so the conversion rate would probly make them about the same price. And ordering online he already explained isn't really an options because of ultra retarded delays and huge shipping fees as he is in way North Canada.

But he gets PVL whey gourmet! that stuff taste good and the flavors are amazing. Canadians are lucky they always get better stuff. Alot of stuff you need prescription for in the States you can get over the counter in canada, like shampoos and acne wash, etc.

In the states those prescription face washes would go for 50 bucks in canada you can get them for 7 bucks.

They rip you off big time in usa.

Your best bet would probabyl be to take your current Post workout shake and take 1/2 pre workout and 1/2 post workout but if thats not a choice all of it pwo would be fine.

Are you saying that you're going to take creatine shakes 4 times a day or am I reading your sentence wrong? If so, there's no reason for that. Just take creatine once a day. I would take it prior to your training but many argue that after is good and even a few say that it doesn't matter what time you take it. In any case, you only need 5 grams once a day... maybe 10grams if you're a big guy. Maybe you're loading for the first week? Some creatine supps still boast the benefits of that. It will saturate your creatine stores quicker but it's not necessary in the long run. I would just take the powder though. I find it easier than popping a bunch of pills and it's usually a lot cheaper.

You can just take a whey shake after your workout or you can do like Clint07 days and split it up and take half prior and half post. It won’t affect your weight loss goals unless it exceeds your calorie requirements.

I’d take the glutamine when ever you have a shake peri-workout.

Be skeptical of many of the “weight loss” supplements on the market. Many are complete hype.

Yes, I was going to load on Creatine. According to bodybuilding.com:

Quote:
Here's a typical creatine loading and maintenance cycle:

Week 1: creatine loading phase (20g / day)

Weeks 2 to 4: creatine maintenance phase (10g / day)

Weeks 5 to 8: no creatine
But, then again I'm no bodybuilder. So, do you recommend that I stick with 5-10g every day without cycling?

Okay, I can pull that off. This morning I'm going to do the following:

5g Creatine + Glutamine shake now (I work out in about an hour)
1/2 Whey Shake pre-workout
1/2 Whey Shake post-workout + Glutamine + 5g Creatine (Maybe)

Sounds easy enough. Again, thank you all for the help thus far, I'd be a horse stuck in a toilet without you guys.
