Ok, so what you guys are saying is he should take creatine if he wants to LOSE weight? Got it.
Why don't you just tell him to get a cycle of deca, up his pfc ratio to 30/50/20 and start lifting 3 times a day to LOSE weight. Creatine is a proven mass and strength builder, not a fucking weight loss supplement.
The next thing you know you guys will be telling people to drink muscle milk before sleep to lose weight.

Creatine will not cause you to build mass by itself. That is entirely a function of calories in vs calories out. Creatine will however allow you to train harder (through more available ATP) and thereby burn more calories causing more fat loss.

and its dirt cheap at Vitaminshoppe.com, its not highly thought of around here Syntha 6 and Muscle Milk lead the pack, however I think protein is protein and the only thing to concern yourself with, is casein or whey? stay away from EAS, all there shit is mostly artificial.

yeah but creatine is just water in the muscles so if you have a weigh in, for example, just stop taking it 2 weeks before.

Okay, so I went a little SixStar crazy today when I was buying my supplements.
http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...ltyBand/SS.jpg
Apparently, they have pills too! I went ahead and assumed that SS was a good product, so I bought the lot.
Anyways, I'm reading the directions for the pills and here's what I'm taking and when:
Morning Pre-Workout:
2 x RapidLean
3 x NO Stim
2 x All day energy
2 Creatine Ethyl Ester
Afternoon:
2 Creatine Ethyl Ester
A few questions:
a) Is taking the Creatine pills and also using the Creatine shake just plain overkill?
b) When is it best to take the Glutamine, it doesn't really say...
c) Are taking all of these supplements counter-productive in any way towards fat-loss?
d) Is it best to take Protein as a pre or post workout supplement?
Any ideas, criticism, or advice is definitely welcome for a beginner such as myself. Thanks.

i think its over kill on the creatine, Glutamine (BCAA's are better though) with your shakes, Protein 1 hour before you work out and one shake after you work out.
Too much creatine could cause a little stomach discomfort but thats it, some people believe too much protein could be bad for the kidneys but since your training and using it all chances are thats the least of your worries.

First off, my main goal is weight loss. I've been reading through the D&S FAQ, but I'm a little confused about some things. First off, the FAQ says I should take protein supplements, but do I take "Ultra Whey", 'Egg & Whey", "90%" or "100%"? The same question goes for Creatine. Do I take ATP or Monohydrate? Also, would it be possible to buy both creatine and protein supplements and mix them into a single shake, or do I take them at different times?
Here's some pics of which supplements I'm working with. Click them to enlarge:

Now, as for pills, I read that I should take Omega 3. However, is there a difference with that and Omega 3-6-9? Also, is there anything else that I should additionally take to increase weight loss effectiveness?
And also, there's the product CoQ10 (30/60 mg). I haven't read much about it but the pharmacy tech said it increases ****bolism. Does anyone know if that stuff is effective? Again, more pics of what I'm working with:

If you guys could recommend any of the products listed above, it would help alot. I'm also not really concerned with the price of any of them, so please don't take that into account. Any advice on this topic would be extremely appreciative. Thanks in advance.

So, is the final verdict to go with Six Star Creatine and Six Star Whey Protein over the Weider products? Again, I don't mind paying for the Weider, but if everyone says they're crap, I won't get it. I was under the assumption that the more expensive the better, but I guess not.
I'll try and pick up some greens powder from a herbal shop or something, because I don't think Walmart carries that stuff. Also, I'll look into better multivitamins than Centrum.
Also, one last question that I had was about the CoQ10 (30/60 mg). Has anyone used it before? And if so, what were the results? I was told it boosts ****bolism a ton, so I was wondering about some opinions.
This product is at the top of the picture here:

I take Co Q-10 in 200mg pills. To be honest I don't notice the difference. If budget is on your mind I wouldn't bother. I use Six Star Whey Protein and it seems to do the trick and actually tastes pretty good. The levels of "active ingredients" in it are negligable to the point they should be ignored, though. I take Super Amino 3000 which is also from walmart as well as 5G of whatever their cheapest creatine powder was.
