You are correct. At the very least they should be monitored more closely. Eating a carb meal after training may still be beneficial though. I haven't tried this (and I'm not a glutamine supporter) but from what I've read, BCAA's + Glutamine in relatively high doses seem to do well in place of carbs for workout nutrition when fat loss is the goal. I'm not sure that you can buy those at Wal-Mart though.
And, Metho, I apologize for not seeing your goal previously. I see you stated it right in your first post but I seemed to skip right over it

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll try working a different routine and changing up my diet slightly.
So, is the final verdict to go with Six Star Creatine and Six Star Whey Protein over the Weider products? Again, I don't mind paying for the Weider, but if everyone says they're crap, I won't get it. I was under the assumption that the more expensive the better, but I guess not.
I'll try and pick up some greens powder from a herbal shop or something, because I don't think Walmart carries that stuff. Also, I'll look into better multivitamins than Centrum.
Also, one last question that I had was about the CoQ10 (30/60 mg). Has anyone used it before? And if so, what were the results? I was told it boosts ****bolism a ton, so I was wondering about some opinions.
This product is at the top of the picture here:

Ya, that should be fine.

Sometimes, it depends on a lot of variables.

I've never used it and I've never known anyone else who has used it. I thought that stuff was mostly used as minor treatment for some diseases and disorders. I tried to find some studies real quick in regard to using it for weight loss and found nothing. My bet is that it's a waste of cash for you.
I wouldn’t worry about specific weight loss supplements right now. Just get your diet and training in check and I think you’ll see big results. In my opinion, diet is at least 70% of the battle when it comes to weight loss. Eat according to Berardi’s 7 habits and you probably won’t even have to worry about counting calories until you approach single digit BF.

No, do not take creatine if weight loss is your goal. Sure it can be used to help workouts etc, but you're more likely to gain weight using creatine than lose it.

But I assume that by weight loss he's referring to having a better body composition. Creatine is cheap as hell and very effective in strength and muscle gains. That will indirectly help body composition, not hinder it. If my goal was to simply see smaller numbers on the scale… then, ya, I wouldn’t take creatine either.

i use the six star whey protein and it has creatine and glutamine already in it, part of their "Probolic Muscle Growth Accelerators," which is why i like it. it is small doses, but i would think since his main goal is to lose weight, he could go without buying creatine and benefit from the creatine that is in the protein powder.
the six star stuff is cheap, and i can definately tell a difference in soreness when i dont take it, but it tastes like absolute shit. just drink at fast and try not to breathe...lol

This is a very misleading post. As monger said, you will recover faster and see more muscle growth (therefore increased ****bolism) by taking creatine. What creatine does is allow more water into your muscles essentially so you may weigh a bit more as you have more water in your body. But I think that health and body composition is your goal and not to lose weight at all costs (including water and muscle loss). So, in summary, take creatine. Just don't take the creatine mixes (the ones with tons of sugar in them), just take pure creatine.

That's what happened to the Grappling Forums. Different tactics were used to save it. From answering every question no matter how often repeated, directing to the search function everytime a question was repeated, to maliciously attacking the posters that repeated questions and/or provided idiotic information.
None of it helped. Sure a couple battles were won, but the war was lost with heavy casualties. Lots of veteran posters left and personally I have been back there maybe a dozen times in the last 2 years due to noth having anything better to do at work.
