Supplements: the Walmart Way

Hey guys, I'm very new to the ideas of Dieting and Supplements, and I'm having trouble buying products. Unfortunately, all I can work with is Walmart inventory.

First off, my main goal is weight loss. I've been reading through the D&S FAQ, but I'm a little confused about some things. First off, the FAQ says I should take protein supplements, but do I take "Ultra Whey", 'Egg & Whey", "90%" or "100%"? The same question goes for Creatine. Do I take ATP or Monohydrate? Also, would it be possible to buy both creatine and protein supplements and mix them into a single shake, or do I take them at different times?

Here's some pics of which supplements I'm working with. Click them to enlarge:

Now, as for pills, I read that I should take Omega 3. However, is there a difference with that and Omega 3-6-9? Also, is there anything else that I should additionally take to increase weight loss effectiveness?

And also, there's the product CoQ10 (30/60 mg). I haven't read much about it but the pharmacy tech said it increases ****bolism. Does anyone know if that stuff is effective? Again, more pics of what I'm working with:

If you guys could recommend any of the products listed above, it would help alot. I'm also not really concerned with the price of any of them, so please don't take that into account. Any advice on this topic would be extremely appreciative. Thanks in advance.

for weight loss get as close to a 100% isolate whey protien, as long as its not something like casien for slow digestion stuff, get one that you can use 5-15 mins post workout.

I don't know anything about creatine since I don't take it.

Take a multi.

Buy an enteric encoated fish oil
Buy the six star creatine and take it post workout
Buy a whey protein Isolate and take it post workout as well

As for a multi look for a greens powder of some sort and take it.

I disagree. Take it pre-workout.

The Wal-marts in my area that I have been too usually have like half of half a aisle to protein and creatine and stuff like that and I think only 2 different brands. Good thing is though is that they are cheaper that other places. Side-note though, at cost-co they had an extremely good deal on protein powder. I forgot how much though, just know it was cheaper than other places, they gave you more, and it was name brand.

Okay, so I should buy the 90% Protein instead of the Daily, Ultra Weigh, and Weigh & Egg supplements? Also, just out of curiousity, what's the difference?

Also, in another thread was a list of recommended multi's, but all I could find at Walmart was Centrum. Is this a decent substitute?

I was reading somewhere here that cheaper is usually a bad way to go. How come the Six Star is so much cheaper than the Weider supplements? Almost half the price...

Okay, I will look into that. Is that in liquid or in pill form? I haven't really noticed any of the brands being different other than Regular and Extra Strength fish oil...

Also, I didn't know greens powder was out there, it'll save me from eating spinach like a madman. Thanks!

So, take a Creatine shake pre-workout then a Protein shake post-workout? Is this a normal thing, because it sounds like a bit of overkill on the shakes...

And seeing as I work out twice a day, do I therefore take 4 shakes a day?

Again, thanks for the feedback everyone.

The fish oil should be in pill form.

The creatine isn't too bad from what i've heard 9I think it's manufactured by muscletech which although they are mocked unmercifully here their creatine isn't bad just way overpriced, so the generic version is fine)

What do your workouts look like like? You only need the creatine once per day but the protein will depend on your workouts. For the protein buy the Equate Whey Protein Isolate.

Why only Walmart by the way?
