I heard sometimes the scarred areas don't hold ink well. Supposedly depends on the person and the level of indentation or something.

Maybe bigger scars, but I cant tell where the stretch marks were

yeah, heard about biooil. Looked at hte ingrediants and don't see anything special but apparently it works. Any1 try it?

I have somw pretty thick ones on the front of my shoulder that is goes onto my chest. I hate them.Mine are from getting bigger from lifting. I once spoke with Jay Cutler who has some wicked ones, and he told me he looks at his like battle wounds. They have a story of many hard hours spent in the gym. I try to look at mine that way because they dont seem to be going away

I've got tattoos over some pretty nasty burn scars I got when I was a kid , and they hold ink just fine, but there's no getting rid of the lumpy texture of the scars. You have to get real close to see it though.

I just found out the other day that I have gnarly ones on my inner thighs, up to my crotch.

I got some down the centre of my back from a growth spurt when I was about 14. They started out purple but over time they fade. They don't really bother me.
