Stretch Marks!

I've been dieting and doing well, down to 197 from an all time low of 220. I'm sticking to my diet and so far everything has gone great! Anyway, now I have some stretch marks from being such a fatass. They're on my stomach, sides, and thighs. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these things? I'm planning on more as I drop more wait, I want to stop around 160/150.

Only time, and maintaining the lower weight, will do much for you.

Bad news, you cant get rid of them. There are products to help fade them but ultimately, they are like scars because they are tears in the skin. I got some around the shoulders area in particular that are from my days as a bigger man.

I was told a while back that topical application of coconut oil is good at "preventing" them as it helps the elasticity of your skin but once they are there they are there for good.

I got them about a year ago from dropping weight and was oiling myself down everyday. They've faded though and I've accepted them and don't really give a fuck anymore.

Vitamin E supposedly helps with stretch marks.

I've have them too man, and it sucks. I've used body butter, coconut butter, and baby oil. None of these things have done anything, the best thing to do is keep it hydrated and tan... there still noticeable but not that badly. Mine are on my tricep, so its hard for others to see but it still sucks.

Nothing you can do about it really. They do fade though. My advice would be to just get used to it. Or get tattoos in those areas if you can afford it and are willing.

^^Haha. 10 years ago I lost 60 lbs and had stretch marks. I have since put on 40 lbs of (mostly) muscle and am covered in tattoos. I am not sure if the stretch marks are still underneath.
