Starting ZMA... need some advice

According to the web I should take it two hours after my last meal and 30 mins before bed. As of now my post-bed ritual is a yogurt/fruit smoothie or some cottage cheese. How should I go about taking ZMA while still being able to eat that last protein-rich meal before bed? Would taking the ZMA, eating 30 minutes later, and then going to bed work?

That sounds about right. That worked for me pretty well, anyway.

Yeah, but I would make sure that it's plain yogurt, yoplait yogurt has a ton of sugar.

Casein is about 80% of their total protein, I believe.

ZMA destroyed my sleep for the first 2 weeks. i mean i couldn't get 5 straight hours without having a nightmare and waking up. My doc said that not only does that happen because you're sleeping deeper, but that my symptoms sounded like they could be due to hormonal changes. so you may have to ride that out. now i'm fine and i sleep like a baby with a lavender pillow

For what it's worth, I have taken my ZMA at various different times throughout the day. There have even been times when I've forgotten to take it before bed, and took it in the morning instead.

I still get the "ZMA dreams" regardless of when I take it, so I assume it's still working properly
