MultiVitamin or Fish Oil?

Im looking to get one of these, which do you think is better. Im in high school and saving for a car and its kinda expensive buying both every 2 months.

Also, read on wikipedia that multivitamin can be dangerous cause you can get to much of a mineral or vitamin and its harmful and fish oil has some harmful, forget what it is, does this have any merit to it, cause i like eating fruits and vegetables.

How is your diet to start with? If you consume foods high in omega-3s then you might not need to take a fish oil pill. Buy yourself a quality multi that has greens in it. Read the stickies to get examples of them. I like GNC's Ultra Mega Green multi.

If you're looking for a cheap fish oil pill then go to Costco. They have some of the best fish oil pills for a good price. I don't go a day without taking mine.

Another question I have is why can't you take some money out of your savings to buy some supplements. Spending $30 won't stop you from buying a car.

I dont consume alot of fish, which has omega 3 right, so im thinking fish oil, but dont i have to take like 6 pills aday.

I do eat alot of fruits and veggies though.

Also, $30 bucks every 2 months is alot, i dont work during the school year cause i cant study, so i only work summers and dont get that much.

Your parents won't give you money? If you make a strong enough case I'm sure they'd buy you some fish oil pills. If thirty bucks it a lot to you, the how do you expect to pay for gas and insurance?

I'd take the fish oil over the multivitamin if I had the choice. Thats just my opinion

i got me some fish oil yesterday at costco for about $10. 400 pills all together, u take 1 pill 3 times a day, so $10 of fish oil will last you about 4 and a half months if you stay consistant with it. but its likely that you'll miss a pill or two here and there so it goes a long way.
