Asians eat alot of soy, and if population statistics are anything to go by, they don't seem to have any trouble reproducing.
Analyzing the diet of 99 men is not exactly a definitve study.
I don't even eat soy, but this article comes across more as a propganda piece than anything substantive.

Bold.
I was reading in TIME (I think it was) about the Chinese Olympic medal-hunting program for this year and in the article, the heads of the program were quoted as saying the Chinese/Asian body is not naturally strong like others (but able to tolerate more work/training than others).
I'm not here to argue that Asians are genetically weak, he said that. I'm just noting that statement plus the fast that soy is huge in an Asian diet, and possibly related?
Not to say there aren't athletic and strong and etc Asians. Again, I'm just paraphrasing.

I've been under the impression that the consuption of soy in asia is really over blown. I think that the average western people with average diet eat more soy not knowing it than the chinese or japanese do.

It's possible that asians have been eating soy for thousands of years and it doesnt have the same effect on them.
