Sleep Formula?

Anyone use "Sleep Formula"? It's a GNC product...coughKKcough....I either have school or BJJ on most nights and when I get home it's hard to get to sleep because my head is still going 100mph. I end up getting to sleep about 11 or 11:30pm (I get in bed around 9pm) and I have to be up at 5am.

Any suggestions?

Zma!

Ok, now I'm pissed! How come I can't write ZMA in caps. I've tried it both with the shift key and with caps on

i have the same problem, nutritionist said it is proabably issues with cortisal. As the previous post said, try supplementing a decent ZMA cap (snac is what was recommended to me) with a lemon balm, preferably liquid and ashwangu (sp). I susalyy train until 10:30 and if i dont take this combo i usually cant sleep until 2:30 -3:00. With it i am usually crashed by 12:00-12:30. So it might not be a knockout combo, but it definatly helps!

ZMA's evidence that is boosts sleep regularity is dubious at least, for every recommendation you can find someone damning it to hell.

You cant go wrong with melatonin, its legal in the US but illegal here in the UK and knocks me out for a solid 8-10 hours.

One thing and probably the only thing you need look out for is what i call the hangover, what i mean by this is the sleep-like lethargic state you are subjected to the next day.

usually though an ECA or just the C is enough to bring me out of it, assuming melatonin dose was the standard 3g.

Once took 12g and slept like a baby for 15 hours didnt wake for a piss or anything.

I've tried 5-htp, ZMA, and Melatonin. From the three:

5-htp: Not really sure if it worked or not....

ZMA: Gave me a weird dreams. I also felt different upon waking.

Melatonin: Works for me, makes me sleep after 30 mins to an hour of intake.

im only 17 and have sleeping problems, and i looked up about ZMA and found that it alos boosts testosterone, and I was wondering if it will have the safe negative effects onto my continuing growth that other testosterone boosters do.
