Should I use Milk or water with my Whey Protein Shakes?

Just curious as to which is better. I started taking Whey Protein with Skim Milk, but don't want to get Fat. I'm trying to put on muscle without the fat. Would it be better to mix the Whey Protein with Water instead or is it ok that I'm using Skim Milk or 1% Milk.

This depends almost entirely on the rest of your diet/training/when you are drinking the shake/etc.

The water has fewer calories, the milk has more nutrients (both macro and micro). Without more information that is best we can tell you.

+1

It depends on the person and the situation. Personally, I usually use skim milk in my shakes.

I generally use water but if I'm trying to add more calories for some reason or another I use whole milk

I rarely eat Soy anymore because of the links to estrogen production in men.

I use 2% milk. Taking it with water works for me when I don't wanna gain weight. But seeing as I'm trying to gain weight right now, the milk works great.

Jesus, what's with all the redundant, ignorant threads lately & even worse advice by idiots who have no idea WTF they're talking about? We really need to initiate some type of program requiring people to pas a quiz on the FAQ before posting in the training forums. This shit is getting ridiculous.
