I know, I'm on a roll. Although, I am just paraphrasing him from another thread a little while back.

Absolutely not. If there is a GNC in your little town, or a nearby town, go pick up some ON (Optimum Nutrition) 100% Gold Standard Whey. If not you can get good protein several places online, such as:
True Protein (Use a pre-mix or make your own. I'd recommend a pre-mix until you know exactly what you need)

BB.com

There are others, but those are the 2 I use

Found out it is the same stuff, and goes by plenty other christian/spiritual names as well. I will just call it Bible bread, lolz.

It's not so much flaming by angry dieters as there are many basics. Read the FAQ and the links contained there that pertain to your situation. Then come back and ask more specific questions. Everyone here will be very happy to help you out if you do a little research yourself, but nobody here wants to spoon-feed every noob that comes along.

I'm pretty new to this myself, but I thought lifting heavy was WAY better for pretty much everything except muscle endurance, and especially for losing weight (super increased ****bolism + increased muscle mass)? A pretty simple but effective workout would be the 5x5 in S&P FAQ (at least I have found it to be effective)

If ur going to get a protein shake go buy them at wallmart or target . All protein shakes are the same just different flavors. Don't let it go through your head that consuming alot of it will benefit ya, I only consume 1 scoop
of that protein shake the day of my training with my breakfast.

NO

If you buy that cheap crap at Walmart or Target you're buying cheap crap. Buy from one of those sites and you get the higher quality product that they charge more for if you find it in a store and you get a better price.

I'd recommend it PWO (post work out)

Habit 5: Eat healthy fats daily.

Habit 6: Don't drink beverages (soda, beer, etc.) with more than 0 calories.

Habit 7: Eat whole foods whenever possible.
Follow that as strictly as you can the rest of the time. If your schedule does not allow you to eat every 3 hours, then you can supplement with protein powder, just remember that's what it is: a supplement. It is far better to eat clean whole foods as much as possible.

Also: get a good multi-vitamin (check the FAQ for recommendations.) and some good fish oil.
