Read the FAQ on the main page here in D&S before you get flamed by angry dieters here.

LOL, I really did laugh at this.

It's not so much flaming by angry dieters as there are many basics. Read the FAQ and the links contained there that pertain to your situation. Then come back and ask more specific questions. Everyone here will be very happy to help you out if you do a little research yourself, but nobody here wants to spoon-feed every noob that comes along.

Obviously
no fast foods
Again, pretty obvious
no sweets
Duh
water only (besides protein shake)
Off to a decent start

food do's

egg beaters
Eat your yolks before our friendly neighborhood D&S mod comes to your house to beat you like a rented mule
tuna
Good, but I prefer salmon, wild-caught of course
oatmeal
Best if it's before working out, otherwise I'd steer clear of it
turkey bacon
meh, if you really HAVE to have bacon I suppose it's ok, but I'd drop it too
if i eat bread it has to be wheat
Ezekiel bread (or Genesis bread) is whole sprouted grains and is your best option if you have to have bread
grilled chicken
Good, but don't be afraid of a good steak either
salad
Of course. Green leafy veggies at every meal. That does not include iceberg lettuce with ranch dressing though. Spinach, mixed greens, broccoli, etc. with olive oil & vinegar is good.

Ronin, is the Ezekiel/Genesis bread the same as cholla bread, or is it that "mana" stuff? Just wondering, I have seen the cholla at the local Whole foods, but never tried it.

I couldn't tell ya. Just ask someone that works there, I'm sure they have it.

To be honest it's pretty simple.

Lift light-20+ reps
Run/Swim/Jog/Some form of cardio
Calories out>Calories in

Wow, Ronin. I can't believe you got to use the following twice in one day:
