do i not have a good supplement? i think ill go get something new tomrrow anyways because ive had it a month on top of my fridge, i was not aware it was supose to be in the fridge. it doesnt smell or taste bad, but again this might be going back to the lack of fish being in the oil...
http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=4033 thats the product i use, but i think ill get what the TS recommended tomorrow.
edit: it also says its organic... .lol

You don't need 6 and 9, you get enough 6 from your diet and I believe your body produces omega 9. Just go to the shop and see if you can find some molecularly distilled omega 3 fish oil.

Well i picked up some O3mega fish oil from my local GNC, this stuff looks a little better after some digging on the internet about whats actualy in it.
http://ca.genuinehealth.com/english/...=31§ion=99
Each teaspoon (5mL) of o3mega contains:
Triple fish oil (from anchovy, sardines and mackerel)
(18% EPA/12% DHA) 4,365 mg
Total Omega-3 fatty acids 1,300 mg
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 760 mg
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) 500 mg
In a base of natural Vitamin E and rosemary extract.
Other ingredients:
Natural flavour 207 mg
Ascorbyl palmitate, citric acid.
I was still confused with the fact it did not say distilled but instead "o3mega is a pharmaceutical grade, wild fish oil and free of all toxins including mercury and PCBs."
i would have to assume that means its good... lets hope

From what I've read and understand, molecular distillation is the gold standard; the the case of your brand, it sounds like they've gone above and beyond to ensure purity.

Perhaps the extra veggie water?

I'm pretty sure that's not the fish oil, nor the volume of liquid in the caps. Anything else change recently diet-wise?

Ahh that's the stuff.
Click on the 'o3mega and your safety' link and you will get this:
"To guarantee your safety, all of the fish oils contained in each of the o3mega formulas are derived from wild, pure fish sources. These pharmaceutical grade fish oils are molecularly distilled and are strictly tested to meet the highest purity guidelines."

Did I miss it? Is there a consensus on the top 3/top 5 brands? For example, Carlsens (sp?) fish oil has been recommended to me but, at three times the price of Rexall brand (also molecularly distilled) fish oil......? Ya know I'm a frugal bastard.

I've been farting alot since I started making sure I got in my daily veggies...
do you drink alot of water as well? your current water intake + the water in the veggies = more liquids, so that = more piss, right?

Mike, sorry if I missed any reference to or discussion of this, but what's your opinion on some emerging theory that, for those of us that want to get bigger, fish oil might blunt the various inflammatory responses to training that are necessary for increased hypertrophy?

Ho HO! I stuble into ye Old fishy thread to post some new tripe, and what do I find? Now THAT is a cerebral question. Fuck, I was having doubts lately looking at the threads that have been posted. Refreshing!
So, to the point: While one could run into issues regarding suppressed immune function from taking too much fish oil, there's no way a guy could sabotage his actual work in the gym. Regarding hypertrophy, damage is damage, and the body is going to do everything to repair it. If you goal is size, and your working the right volume/rep range, fish oil isn't going to stop it from happening. In fact, it will only enhance it by adding dietary fats and maximizing testosterone.
I've heard similar theories about vitamin C years ago, much along the same lines: Taking too much vitamin C will cause your body to repair itself too fast, and you won't get big. Oddly enough, guys still packed on size. Theory dissolved.
