A good rule of thumb in the fish business, only buy from a purveyor that source's its own raw material. There are only two that I know of: Carlson and Nordic Naturals, but I could be wrong.
Carlson's liquid is amazing. Good price and great taste. I hate sucking down 8 pills a day.

Forgive me if this has been linked elsewhere and I missed it. Thought it would be of some benefit to those shopping around different brands and are curious as to the quality/safety of the product.

I tried doing the Lovaza thing but my insurance won't cover any of the cost. Looks like i'm going to have to stick with whatever is on sale at the time. As it is the Rexall/Sundown brand hasn't been too shabby.

I'm assuming like any other lipid it's normal for fish oil to become cloudy at lower temperatures? I've been storing my capsules in the fridge based on the recommendations from this thread and have noticed my capsules are becoming cloudy. Just wondering if this is normal.

just started taking fish oils today
i was a little nervous about biting the capsule but then i remembered i actually love eating all different kinds of fish and a little fish oil wouldn't be as bad as i thought
