I stick to my schedule Self discipline, man... ha ha...

Seriously though, I haven't used it for that purpose but I can't believe it's going to make a huge difference in the way someone feels. I'm making that judgment based on how it affected me when I took it pre-WO. If you're sore as hell from the day prior, I doubt any amount of DMAE is going to change that. It's probably like downing an energy drink or something in regards that you may feel a little better temporarily but you'll still be exhausted.

I'm one of those play it by ear people

I see what you mean. If you're exhausted and train its just going to make you worse

LoL, not having a set schedule just kills me! Right now my gym is bouncing fighter schedules all over the place and it's frustrating as hell. I'm the kind of guy that likes to plan out my entire training for weeks or even months in the future. Playing it by ear drives me insane.

That piracitam tastes utterly disgusting.

Also, a question: does tyrosine break down quickly like creatine (supposedly) where it isn't good to leave it in a liquid for a long time before drinking? The same for DMAE and lecithin.

Would it reduce the effectiveness if I were to mix it a couple hours before giving it a shot?

But does it work?

Just because you "feel" recovered, it doesn't really mean that you actually are.

x2. HIIT can be sneaky like that, and I've made that mistake more than a few times.

Vedic, in context that's what I was saying in relation to mongers assessment of DMAE.

If I felt recovered I would train again, thats how I am. Which is why taking DMAE would probably be a bad idea for people like me.

On a side note- I have been known to overtrain if I've had a lay off or not been forced via work or revision to take a break.

I feel weak for missing a session

Yes yes I know before anyone says anything

I feel ya there, buddy. After missing a day or two of workouts I start to feel like shit, mentally. I'm going batty as we speak because as good as I feel I know the nerves in my arms need a couple more days rest before workout again. What sucks is that taking Neurostim or biking around town energize me and make me want to workout or go climbing, to which I must yell at myself, "NO!"

Climbing is addicting. I know I need to cut back, but I don't. In exchange I have cut back on lifting, and tinkered my IF, but so far its working better than planned.
