Calling all scientific people: muscle synthesis regulation

Hi, I am thinking about doing a report on regulation of muscle synthesis. Its how muscle proteins are made from mRNA and how they turn into muscle, and the regulation/control of that. I was wondering if any you guys know where I could find more info on that besides google scholar. On google scholar, I find the latest research on that, but it doesn't really go into the deep science of this process. It just says x increases y, ect.

Some info I would need to know:
What genes code muscle proteins?
Are they correlated with any other genes?
What enviromental changes affect this regulation:
– Oxidizing
– Reducing
– Temperature
– Starvation
– Stationary Phase
What are the promoters to protein transcriptions from mRNA. What are the inhibitors.
Any self regulation of the protiens?
Logical units , expression cassacades, connectivity, ect.

Any info will be very useful. My results may even help you guys out with gaining muscle.

Try some body building websites like
http://www.bodybuilding.com
http://www.t-nation.com/

These sites have some fairly good informtion realted to the building of muscle tissue. You have to kind of dig around a little to find the good stuff.
