Pre and Post Workout Formulas From True Protein -- Need Some Advice

Hopefully I can get more feedback on my formula ideas then my diet thread I started yesterday. Here are my two formulas:

Pre-Workout:

Buzz Saw
- I figured I would try this since the price is so much less then NO-Xplode. If I don't like it I'll just spend the extra money and go with NO-Xplode.
- I've already gotten feedback on this but I would appreciate more.

Post-Workout:

Custom True Protein Mix
- 25% Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade
- 25% Dextrose
- 25% Maltodextrin
- 5% Glutamine Peptides
- 5% L-Leucine by the Pound
- 5% Taurine Powder
- 5% Creatine Monohydrate Powder
- 5% Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's)
- I followed MadMick's recommedations on his PWO formula thread. However, I couldn't exactly follow the supplement recommendations given True Protein only allows 5% increments on their supplements.
- I'm ordering 3-4 pounds of this and I was wondering how much I take PWO -- one scoop, two scoops, or possibly 100 grams.
- Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would take out the taurine, creatine, leucine, and glutamine.

I've never really seen where taurine is that beneficial post workout... especially being 5% of your drink.

Creatine is cheap as fuck and you're better off buying it separately so you can control your intake better. Unless you're a really huge dude, 3-5 grams a day is enough and I don't like the idea of it being 5% of my drink.

Leucine is great but it's covered when taking the BCAA's.

Glutamine is worthless unless you're on an extreme diet with a very low protein intake, or you're planning to have surgery after your workout.

Here's what I would do...

- 30% Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade
- 30% Dextrose
- 30% Maltodextrin
- 10% Branched Chain Amino Acids

Add 5g of creatine to this per serving.

What kind of Creatine would you order separately? Would you get the Monohydrate, the Ethel Ester HCL, or the Gluconate?

You may want to splurge and get one of the premium flavors. BCAA's and Hydrolyzed whey can be pretty hard to mask.

So, I'm going to get my PWO custom mix from True Protein this week and I took the above advice and got 100g of Creatine Monohydrate as well. For two servings which is 60g would you guys suggest 5g of Creatine?

I would suggest 5g of creatine regardless of protein intake.
