Is there a difference between pre and post nutrition for cardio and the pre and post nutrition for weight lifting? If so what are some of the differences?

After cardio, I personally take in more carbs than I do protein, probably 3:1.

After a weight routine, I usually take in more like 2:1 protein to carbs.

Regardless of the type of workout, your post-workout nutrition should take place within the first 30-45 minutes after exercise. Your body is like a sponge and will quickly absorb whatever you put in it. This is the ideal time to get the nutrients that you need to repair and recover.

As far as PRE workout, I personally try to eat pretty lightly beforehand because I don't want to feel full and sluggish while I'm trying to workout.
