Nice, some good recipes in here, will have to go through all of them later.

Here's what works for me now, throughout my day.

Breakfast- not much since it is pre-workout
Glass of water(soon as i wakeup)
Shot of honey
2 slices of wheat(16grain etc)toast buttered; with garlic powder, oregano, and ground black pepper(yum garlic bread)
1 banana
cup of green tea
creatine

to the gym.

Post workout - I'm trying different things, but basically try to get protein in
1. dairy pill and glass of milk with pb jelly on wheat
2. protein shake(MM, myoplex, whey protein etc)
3. 3+ eggs with toast or rice

Lunch is usually something like a roast beef sandwich. Sometimes i'll do tuna, or a chicken breast. Looking to incorporate more veggies, nuts and berries.

Dinner, I'll do different things. Just to have a recipe, here's how i do lamb rib chops:

Preheat convection oven. Salt + pepper. Sear the chops a few minutes on each side with some chopped garlic. Place on foil. Garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, and most importantly curry powder rubber in. Throw in chopped onions. Wrap up in the foil and throw in oven for 20 minutes. I usually throw it on some brown rice.

Weird, this thread keeps bumping me back to the 13th page. Can't get into page 14.

Anyways, I came up with this recipe today. It was incredibly good.

Coconut Curry Pumpkin Chicken Soup (one person, adjust as needed)

A cup or more of chopped pumpkin or squash
Small onion
Oil - olive or whatever you like. butter if that's your deal
Garlic - one or two cloves
Fresh Ginger - a piece about the size of your thumb, chopped or sliced thin
Hard Veggies - carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, whatever you dig the most.
Chicken Breast - chopped bite size
Coconut Milk or Powder
Milk
Curry Powder
Citrus juice - lime/lemon/orange. fresh or from a carton.
Chili powder - optional. as much as you like

Fry the onions in a pot or pan in the oil for 1-2 minutes. Add the chicken, garlic, and ginger, and a tablespoon or so of curry powder. I like a milder soup, if you like strong flavours then use more.

Fry until the chicken is sealed (cooked on all sides). Throw in the pumpkin and other veggies, then add enough water to cover everything by about an inch. Bring to a boil and let it simmer.

After 10 min or so the pumpkin and carrots will soften. At this point add half a can of coconut milk.

Or if you use coconut milk powder then mix it with water according to the directions, then add a few splashes of milk. Then dump that mess into the soup. Bring back to a light boil, stir it up.

Salt to taste. Squeeze the citrus fruit now, or add the juice and stir it. Don't go crazy though. Remove from the heat.

Chicks will dig you for this soup. It's a good way to have delicious curry, without it being too spicy or smelly.

Quick and easy instructions: fry onions, chicken, garlic, ginger and curry powder till the chicken is cooked on all sides. add the other veggies and water. boil it until the veggies are soft. add coconut milk or just regular milk and coconut powder. salt. juice, eat.

The name, alone, entices me. I'll have to try this.

-Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake for half an hour.

I usually make whole wheat pasta with it.

This was posted in another thread and may be in here but I just wanted to add that this is excellent and super easy. I also added sliced mushrooms which went nicely. As he mentioned it goes great with whole wheat past, I'm going to try it with brown rice next.

A month later and I still can't get there.

Edit:

I switched to 10 post per page and that left me with 2 unaccessible pages (27 & 28).

Randomly stumbled across this while doing some research on WebMD.

As a bit of a condiment whore I dig it because of the BBQ and Ranch (use lite versions of both).

Perfect PITA

1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
1/2 cup chopped precooked chicken
1 whole wheat pita
1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
2 tablespoons diced cucumber
1 tablespoon low-fat ranch dressing

Stir together barbecue sauce and chicken. Microwave for 30 seconds or until hot. Stuff into each pita half.
In a bowl, toss lettuce and cucumber with dressing. Stuff into pitas.

Nutritional information, per serving (Serves 1): 421 calories, 40 g protein, 44 g carbs, 10 g total fat, 2 g saturated fat, 734 mg sodium, 6 g fiber

I gave this a try yesterday and really dug it.
