I call this meal - chicken salad...
cut up some small thin chicken strips. george foreman them.
while they are grilling, get a big mixing bowl. slice up 2 mushrooms into bowl and 2 spring onions. use a peeler on a medium small carrot and shave it down and put shavings into bowl. add some small lettuce leafs. add some pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds then some avacado cubes.
now leave the chicken to cool for 3 minutes. while cooling. add some ceasar dressing to the salad bowl and mix it all together. place chicken on top.
very delicious and healthy meal. not hard to preapre either. should be reasonaly sizeable too.

HALIBUT STEAMED IN FOIL
Ingredients:
3-4 FRESH Halibut filets (freshness is key)
1/4C olive oil
Thyme
Salt
Pepper
Lemons
Tear off some tinfoil large enough that you can make a pouch that the halibut will fit inside. Season the filets and dress with oil. Crimp the edges of the foil so the halibut is completely wrapped by the foil. Place in a 350F oven for about 20-25 min. Serve it with spinach or green beans and brown rice or potato or some kind of starch. The fish will steam itself in its own juices and will come out super moist. Also, don't forget to hit it with some fresh lemon juice when it comes out. Damn it's good.

I just started on this whole clean eating thing a few weeks ago. Last night I made something that I thought was pretty good and extremely easy to make.
Whole grain rice
whole wheat tortillas
Louisiana hot sauce
Cook rice however you like. I seasoned mine with garlic, pepper and chili powder.
when rice is done take rice, put it into tortilla put as much Louisiana hot sauce on as you like. Fold like a burrito put in mouth, bite down, chew, swallow repeat. Yummy goodness

REQUEST: I love ginger but dont know any recipes in which it is used. If anyone has any dishes in which ginger is used, it would be much appreciated if you could post the recipe.
Cheers.

Coldfire's Fried Rice
* 2-3 eggs
* Veges (mushrooms, peppers, peas, carrots, whatever you want really)
* 1-2 rashers of bacon
* 1 brown onion
* 1 green onion
* 1 packet of microwave rice (or can use rice leftover from night before)
* olive oil
* soy sauce
- microwave ur rice
- scramble and cook eggs, then put aside
- cook brown onion and bacon in olive oil until onion begins to soften then add extra veges
- add 1Tbspn of soy sauce, then add rice
- stir through adding soy sauce little by little till rice is lighty browned
- add cooked eggs and chopped green onion and stir for another minute
- eat
Alot quicker and easier than it prolly sounds, tasty as hell and a great meal to use up leftovers.

Lean Protein + Vegetables:
Scramble four eggs (two whites-only) with a splash of milk. Cook as regular scrambled eggs.
Fill a bowl with a romaine-based salad.
Put the eggs on top.
Stir, and eat.
Doesn't need any dressing, the eggs take care of any "dryness" from plain salad. Also tastes extremely good.
