That's really ignorant.

Are cardiac stents garbage because they're synthetic? How about pacemakers or stomach staples? There's a reason why science exists.

Food for thought, your veins are inside your body, your digestive tract are technically outside your body.

EDIT:

Further food for thought:

Asthma inhalers (absorbed through your lungs/alveoli), vaccines (injected straight into your blood stream), and antibiotics (consumed orally) are all synthetic.

A few more:
una Melts
You could add some capers or chopped pickles to this simple recipe for a bit of a kick.
INGREDIENTS:

* 8 slices whole wheat bread
* 6 oz. can chunk tuna, drained
* 1/3 cup mayonnaise
* 4 slices American cheese, diced
* 1 tomato, sliced
* 1 Tbsp. butter

PREPARATION:
Combine tuna, mayonnaise and cheese in small bowl and mix gently until combined. Make sandwiches with tuna mixture, bread and tomatoes. Spread butter thinly on outsides of sandwiches.

Preheat George Foreman or two sided indoor grill.

Chicken:
This is a really quick and easy Honey marinade for chicken. This is delicious and pretty healthy too especially if you use all natural orange juice.

• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
• 1/3 cup orange juice
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 green onion, chopped (optional)
• 4 medium boneless skinless chicken breast halves
In a large self-closing plastic bag, combine first six ingredients; mix well. Place chicken in bag and seal tightly. Turn bag gently to distribute marinade.
Refrigerate 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes for stronger flavor. Turn bag occasionally.
Lightly grease grill rack. Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade; reserve the marinade.

Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side or until juices run clear. Discard leftover marinade.

Tuna Pizza!
White beans are mashed up to form the 'sauce' in this easy no cook pizza recipe. Roasted red peppers, tuna, and Parmesan cheese are other toppings.
INGREDIENTS:

* 1 Boboli pizza crust
* 15 oz. can white beans, rinsed and drained
* 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
* salt and pepper to taste
* 6 oz. can solid pack white tuna, drained
* 1 jar roasted red pepper, drained, chopped
* 14 oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:
In medium bowl, combine beans, vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. Mash beans, leaving some texture in the mixture. Spread bean mixture over crust. Top with tuna, red peppers, and tomatoes. Sprinkle cheese over all and serve.
