Post workout shake
can someone give me a good recipe for a post workout shake, something with protien and taste good would be nice

Drumsticks = dark meat. Higher fat, lower protein. So they're not going to be too optimal for "healthy" recipes.

Stuffed Chicken Breast
I'm a big fan of stuffing chicken breasts....here are 2 recipes.
Chicken Breast stuffed with basil and feta
Marinate Chicken Breast in garlic, lime, olive oil, and onion overnight/all day. Some people buy marinades but that is a waste of money if you ask me.
you can either cut a slit in the chicken breast or flatten it. If you cut the slit, simply stuff with chopped basil and feta. If you flatten, put the basil and feta on the middle and roll back over. I fasten with toothpicks, some use cooking string. I then season the chicken with seasoned salt, pepper, some garlic, and italian seasoning (oregano, thyme, rosemary, and sage). I normally coat with either the leftover marinade or just olive oil. I am a slowcook fan and cook it at around 300 for about an hour and a half. I check it and coat with a tad more olive oil about every 30 minutes to keep the moistness. I add green onion to the top shortly before removing from the oven. Serve over brown rice with a couple spears of asparagus (cook however you like...I personally rap in aluminum foil with olive oil and season with basically the same as the chicken)
Chicken Breast stuffed with salsa
I make my own salsa but I'm not gonna get into all of that because many people won't. I would advise never buying any salsa that isn't cold. I am pretty picky however.  I marinate in lime, olive oil, a bit of water, a pinch of garlic, onion, and cayenne pepper. Stuff the same method as the recipe above with the salsa. I add olive oil in the middle on this one with the salsa. It seems to not dry the salsa. I season with season salt, cayenne pepper, and a dash of crushed red pepper. I serve this over brown rice with a lot of veggies (if looking at calories just don't add as many). I add onion, red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper, and blackolives. I also top the chicken with a small portion of green onion and mexican cheese towards the end. It's a lot of calories but you can make a smaller portion.
The first recipe with basil and feta is GREAT with fat pork chops, but I know most prefer chicken. I'll post some more recipes tonight as well, I have a lot of free time tonight.

a couple of others...I'm keeping them pretty simple as I realize many people have time constraints/budget issues...if you look at my previous post I use the same ingredients a lot as I'm not a millionaire either.
Spinach Salad w/ grilled chicken
marinate chicken in lime, garlic, olive oil overnight. Grill chicken on grill or griddle (If using a griddle, cut chicken into strips before marinating and use olive oil when cooking. If on a grill, grill as a whole.) I season with mainly seasoned salt and freshly ground black pepper. Sometimes I like to switch it up to add more flavor. I use about 1/4 of a bag of spinach (I'm big on supplementing with other vegetables in the mix). Add chopped green, red, and yellow bell peppers; green onion, and black olives. I use a small portion of feta cheese. Other things I add (only if I already have.....shredded carrots, raisins, pine nuts, etc.) Many swear by vinagrette dressing but I always top with lime. I am also fond of adding a bit of minced garlic and a decent amount of black pepper. The veggies and chicken should be the predominant flavor though.
P.S. good substitute for chicken is 'salad shrimp'. Be skeptical of where you go for your shrimp though.
Salmon Linguine
If you can't notice a pattern by now, I try for the veggies in my dishes to add more substance than anything. Start by marinating your salmon in garlic, lime, italian seasonings, and olive oil. I prefer to cook mine on the grill wrapped in aluminum foil for quick convenience. Start boiling your linguine in a bit of salt water while you fire the grill. I use a very small portion of linguine compared to salmon compared to normal recipes and restaurants. Do this according to your diet and taste. As for a sauce, I use a light amount of tomato sauce and freshly chopped tomatoes combined with garlic, olive oil, green onion, cilantro (small amount), cayenne pepper (again...a small amount), and red pepper. After the linguine is boiled, I like to combine with italian seasonings, olive oil, and salt (small portion). I generally top with the salmon and then the sauce. Many others prefer mixing the linguine and sauce but as stated before, the linguine is minimal for me.
Any questions, just ask. I figure most have a decent knowledge of cooking.

Thanks for the info KK, i was aware of the higher fat content (i didn't think it was a substancial amount though) but i was completely unaware of the lower protien content. I have never taken a very scientifical approach to my diet, i usually go more with commonsence approach (fruit & veg=good, fish & chips=bad), lol, very simple. I am definately now going to study a little more about what i'm eating and will post some recipes myself next time. First off though i'm going to try Oblivion's basil & feta stuffed chicken breast, it f-ing sounds delicious!!

Chicken Tortilla Soup
another boring night over here so I will post a few recipes here and there....since it's cold outside where I'm at I'm making Chicken Tortilla Soup tonight.
Marinate chicken over night in olive oil (I really am a fan of mixing this with water for marination purposes), lime, and cayenne pepper) Season with seasoned salt and cayenne pepper. I'm chopping this up and cooking with olive oil. Begin heating chicken stock (I have a huge batch I make and refrigerate) or chicken broth (I imagine most will have this). Chop up an entire tomato and onion. I add these but save some of the onions to cook with the chicken. Add some minced garlic and cilantro to the mix. I also add a touch of cumin, some don't like that too much. I now begin adding the garlic and onion with chicken along with a bit more olive oil. Begin adding all of this together.
Since I am mister picky, I like to keep this on low for a while for the chicken, garlic, and onion taste to sink in. This soup is generally a "thin soup". Serve over tortilla chips, garnish with avacado slices, and add a small amount of jack cheese.
Note - depending on amount of chicken broth, you may want to add more tomato.

I'll add this really quick for a salsa recipe since it uses the basically the same ingredients as Chicken Tortilla Soup and I had the recipe for Chicken Stuffed With Salsa. Just a listing of ingredients, add them all together.
Note- this is an avacado salsa recipe. There are many others. If you like tomato, add tomato. If you like green salsa, use honeydew, green peppers, green onion, etc. You can basically do anything with salsa.
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 jalapeno, minced
1 meduim cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 ripe avocados, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
