I've had great luck making my own jerkey. All you need is a dehydrator and a blend of spices that you like and you're set. I make it out of beef all year round and venison/elk whenever I've shot one.

I think Fozzy said the MyoPure beef jerky is pretty good. I've haven't checked it out yet but if he recommended it then it must be decent.

I've been trying to get a few servings of fruit in a day, rather than just one. I seem to remember seeing that some fruits were better than others for weight loss / getting lean.

Was it bananas and pineapples that you're supposed to avoid? I've been eating apples and the occasional orange. Would there be anything better for getting lean?
