Steel Cut vs. Rolled Oats

I did a search and never got a real clear answer. After comparing the labels of steel cut and old fashioned rolled oats I don't really see a difference in nutritional value. Other than being a half a gram less in total fat what makes steel cut healthier for you than rolled?

Steel cut has a lower GI than rolled.

You are splitting hairs by worrying about that.

The texture of steel cut is better too. Instead of being completely "porridgey" there are little bits of grain throughout that are a bit more interesting to eat.
