products like NO Xplode, Nitrix, NO2 have had some good results. I dont think that they can be quantified as placebo under those circumstances

Yes, but controlling for other substances like dextrose: I'm not aware of any arginine-only or orthinine studies for oral doses under 10g that prove anything.

Word of mouth can be deceiving. Guys think one thing is enhancing their performance when it's really something else; in this case, probably something far, far, far less expensive. Thus the "scam" part.

i noticed maybe 5 days after starting to use nitrix i was very very veiny.....and i had been lifting before that for years....how do u explain that?

I have been using it now for just under 1 week, and I have noticed slighlty more veiny but my recovery time is amazing. Normally on heavy leg days I have trouble even getting onto the toilet, now I was good within a day.

oh my garsh and i like totallt like totally know a guy who took it and nothing happened and he was like oh my god and i was like oh my god and we couldnt believe that ronny coleman would make a whole 4 page magazine ad that lied! wow.
