Holy crap, that is one detailed and informative post. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to write that up.

This gets a 9.9/10, only thing missing is a phtoshopped nutritional value label, only because I am going to print this out and give it to people I help train, but I can already see the confusion of how they are going to add this into their diet logs.

Thanks, guys. Positive reinforcement is always a plus.

At this point, I'm gonna implore the forum for critiques.

Is there something you would add? The formula in the 3rd post is complete: I really wouldn't add anything to it if I could. Is there something you would include that I didn't? Is there something you would exclude that I included?

Just got a 5lb of hydrolyzed whey from allthewhey for 19.99, sweet deals I tell yah!

As for the formula, it sounds great Mick.
I really need to make more time for myself; I would love to start experimenting with PWO shakes.

All you need is 10 pounds of dextrose and/or maltodextrin.

Thanks Mick,
That sounds like a lot of dextrose for the amount of protein. How important is it to be precise when mixing the two? Is it a good rule of thumb to use 2 lbs. of dextrose for every pound of protein?

Thanks,
-Bang

Exactly- a ratio of 2:1.

You'll be good anywhere in a 1:1 to 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein, but I'm recommending 2:1 here.
