Multivitamin and Urine color: I know, weird topic for a conversation

Ok here the deal, I recently replaced my crappy Equate brand multivitamin with GNC Mega Men multi and threw in a joint supp. that contains MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Since I have started taking them along with my other medications, I have noticed my urine looks like I have been drinking yellow dye #5. The multi is the only thing I take that even approaches that color and it makes me wonder if I am pissing away some vitamins I should be absorbing.

Right now I take:

3 Multi
3 Joint supp.
2 Fish Oil
1 Blood pressure + Diuretic
1 Cholesterol
1 Thyroid
1 Triglyceride lowering
1 Zinc + Magnesium

I take this once a day with my lunch. What I was wondering from those who have taken multi's for awhile and GNC inparticular... Do you experience the same issue?

I started taking Orange Triad a few days ago. I've also taken some other expensive vitamins in the past, and I always notice this. Looks like I'm radioactive or something! I think it's just access that your body does *not* absorb. If you read the label, you see that many vitamins and minerals are in like 500% range of what your body needs daily. I always figure that's what it is. Plus seeing that change makes me think it's working!

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) causes your urine to look bright neon yellow. The max amount that can be absorbed at one time is roughly 27mg. It's water soluble, so any excess isn't a concern.

Gnc vitamins are not only higher than some in the B vitamins but the are also more absorbant. Hence the bright urine

don't worry about it but remember to drink plenty of water. then it won't seem so bad.
