Wow I guess no one cares to read the information and inform themselves.
I agree with the guy who says buy food. Educate yourself, or get a strength coach. Or find a olympic lifting coach, or powerlifting coach. Look up Charles Poloquin, Christian Thibadeu, Chad Waterbury, Dave Tate, for example. World class coaches. Read their articles. After you get the training and eating in order get a good protein powder.

I'm sure the stuff is good, but I heard its a little overpriced compared to similar products on the market....

Do an internet/Google search on the ingredients. You'll find out what your looking for, much better than from those people on this site. Also check out the Sherdog training forum which facillitates discussions on these types of topics.

Get some Creatine, its relatively cheap, and its really the only thing on the market (save roids) that's proven to work.

The product will work very well. Creatine ester is good stuff. But you just paid about twice what you should have for what you got. Xyience makes the same thing every other supplement company makes but they charge double.

From personal experience...

I would recomend just a high grade creatine powder. The only negative to creatine that I have ever experienced is a brief loss of defenition during the off part of my cycling. I work with a guy who does the cop olympics every year for power lifting and he told me if you want to gain mass after every work out eat red meat or have a protien shake within 30 minutes of finishing your work out. Supposedly if you wait more than 30 minutes your not even going to get half the result. For information I buy BIOMASS Creatine from bodybuilding.com

a good quality protein powder for recovery is all you need (I use the 100% whey isolates one from GNC), and take a good quality multivitamin every day, esp. training days. You really don't need over the counter creatine

Damn it. You used a good reference that's pertinent to the topic at hand. I was going to dip into the Barry Bonds well.
