How do you time you food intake with training in mind?

im having a problem timing when i eat. I train 7-9 BJJ after work so i like to have my meal around 2 hours before around 5.

can someone analyze my habits and give some feedback? i have some questiones at the bottom.

i wake up @ 6am, i cant eat when i first wake up so my first meal is at 7:45
(fully catered by Aramark). usually yogurt w/ granola and a banana

i get hungry for some carbs around 2hours later @ 9:45
will usually eat half a bagel or 2 pieces of toast or something

lunch is at 12:00

get hungry again around 230-3,
food is gone but there are tons of snacks to choose from, usually ill get nuts or 100 cal bag of something or baked lays, but this time is usually very bad for me lol

i get off work at 430 but practice is at 7 so i have to kill time(which sucks) and get another meal in around 5 so i dont cut it close and practice on a full stomach. i have to eat out so its hard to find somehting

i get home around 945 after practice starving and slam down a huge plate


is it ok that im waiting almost 2 hours before my first meal in the morning?
is it ok that im eating a huge meal 1 hour 30 min before bed even tho its after training hard?
and for the people that train what do you usually try and eat before practice and how much before do you eat?

What kind of training do you do?

I like to eat 30-45 minutes before lifting weights so I do not get hungry while lifting, and so I have plenty of energy and somewhat stabilized blood sugar.

Don't worry too much about the small stuff. Overall calories in vs. calories out is more important than timing. However, I think you do need more protein and less grains.

my lunch and dinner are usually based around protein with sides of veggies, and i train BJJ. i should have make that clearer sorry lol
