Having trouble digesting Supps
I'm trying to bulk and have gone through a wide array of different supps, none of which have sit well at all with my stomach. I am lactose intolerant, but I can eat an entire pizza without my stomach getting upset, so it's odd to me that these Iso's have been killing me.
I've tried Nectar's Iso, GNC, and now Nature's Best IsoPure Mass.
I don't want to go into detail but it's very likely that I've lost everything I've eaten today due to the IsoPure. My stomach only acts like this when taking these supps, my diet is clean and has not changed at all.
Any suggestions or reasons as to why this is happening? I think I'll let my stomach rest and try the IsoPure again on Monday, if I get the same results I don't know what to do from there.

Musclemilk = lactose free
Also, greens supplements are rumored to help lactose intolerant people.

Strange, Iso should be easier on your stomach.

I am also lactose intolerant and have tried every sort of "lactose free" proteins from cows milk and had no less discomfort than with the "normal proteins".
My stomach handle's the Oryx goat whey much better. Goat milk is supposed* to be easier to digest because it never has lactose to begin with (as opposed to removing the lactose from cow's milk).
you can check it out at www.vyotech.com
and if I remember correctly, you can get it cheaper at a1supplements.com
*I'm not vouging for these statements or citing any study, I'm just saying that I personally was able to digest it (no bloating or constipation)

This is what the company claims:
The Protein
Goat milk protein has the highest bioavailability of any protein on the planet, in fact it comes from one of the world’s oldest domesticated animals whose milk is very similar in chemical structure and properties to human milk. Goat milk has been touted as one of the premium sources of nutrients in the history of the world. Everyone at one point or another has heard of the benefits of goat’s milk. But not everyone has jumped on the bandwagon, yet!
The Problem
Goat Milk has an extremely sour and bitter taste, and for any company considering marketing this protein would be suicide. You would have better luck mixing vinegar and pickle juice and selling it as a pre-workout oral sodium infusion cocktail. There’s been no way to get over the foul flavor of goats milk, even though the muscle building benefits would be well worth having to stomach it, until now!
Vyotech’s Solution: Exclusive Extraction Process
ORYX Goat Whey Protein is a proprietary blend (patent pending) of goat milk whey protein isolates, concentrates, and peptides obtained from several species of goats. The goat’s milk utilized in the formulation of ORYX Goat Whey Protein use an exclusive flash pasteurization process and UV light sterilization. The whey is extracted and processed promoting a system of enzymes that disunite the glucose molecules during the extraction process. The end product is a protein source that is more easily and rapidly absorbed and does not raise blood sugar levels or spike insulin. Most importantly the foul, bitter taste is removed so when flavored with Sucralose, it tastes amazing!
Highest in BCAA's, BV & 100% Lactose Free
ORYX Goat Whey Protein has the highest concentration of BCAA's (branched chain amino acids) of any protein and a BV (biological value) of 104, which is higher than whole egg (100). How many times have you had to deal with the embarrassment of gas, bloating or nausea from drinking a whey protein drink? With Oryx Goat Whey Protein, that will never happen again.
Highest Absorption
Leading cow based whey proteins have on average a 40-50% absorption rate, where as ORYX Goat Whey has nearly a 94% absorption rate. That’s double the absorption rate so when you ingest 30 grams of ORYX Goat Whey, you’re absorbing nearly all 30 grams!
ORYX Goats Were Made for Milking
The goat milk used in ORYX Goat Whey comes from French Alpine Goats & Switzerland’s Saanen Goats, both of which were originally bred hundreds of years ago to produce the finest milk. Both species are best known for their high quality milk production, which is the milk used exclusively in making ORYX Goat Whey, The World’s Perfect Protein TM
Superior Absorption & Digestibility
ORYX is the most highly bio-available and highest quality protein on the planet, and has been named The World’s Perfect Protein TM for good reason. ORYX has the highest BV (biological value) of any protein, with a 300% greater absorption rate than bovine (cow) whey protein.

So that stuff actually tastes good and works for you? As long as the taste isn't horrible I can deal with it. I need something because I'm a hard gainer, eating 6-7 meals currently and still not putting on the weight I want. Still a tad weary because the Nature's Best makes some of the same claims, but I'll check these guys out too, thx.

When I am starting to get back into supps and stuff sometimes I need a period to get used to this stuff in my stomach. One thing to think about is easing into your supplement regime. Probably the worst thing for my stomach is undissolved creatine, I get quite nauseous for around an hour after taking it if its not dissolved (in a warm liquid like coffee) or I take more than a few grams. Once I'm taking it regularly, I seem to deal with it much better. Try taking it slow.
