Has anyone here tried carb cycling?

Im trying to lose some weight, hopefully 12-15 pounds. The one thing I worry about is losing strength. I plan to get stronger during the process and Im wondering if carb cycling would be the answer to this. Im not exactly sure how it works exactly. If I lift on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, would those be the days I eat alot of carbs, where as the other 4 days I eat next to zero? Or would I deplete myself over the course of the week and carb up on the weekend? Im really interested to hear the approach you guys have used and the results you had.

I was thinking I would do something like this

Monday - High carbs, Pull day
Tuesday - No Carbs
Wednesday - Low carbs, push day
Thursday - No Carbs
Friday - High carbs, Squat day
Saturday - Low carbs, verticle push day,
Sunday - No carbs

Obviously I would be doing a fair amount of cardio most days aswell.
