Grapplers Guide to Sports Nutrition questions

Has anybody read the Grapplers Guide to Sports Nutrition and is it worth the $$? Diet has always been challenging for me since the intensity of my workouts flucuate throughout the week. Or if anyone has the pdf, I'd be willing to trade information for several great books I have in pdf as well. Let me know!

Thanks!

Read all of Berardi's online articles and you'll get the general principles. Goes into some super foods, routines for cutting weight and weight loss, supplementation, but really it basically all about the 7 habits.

I will say it is an awesome book though. Nice to have all that information in one place.

Buy it. It's worth it.

You touched on an interesting issue that, coincidentally, Berardi mentioned in an article.

A person could spend hours and hours reading articles online, hanging out in chat forums, and other things like that. Or spend $20 and buy the book. As kaboom said, it's nice to have all that information in one place. It's the opportunity cost of time spent reading on forums and articles just to save a few bucks versus buying a good book, reading it, and getting on with life.

And by "getting on with life" I mean spending time on forums discussing what you've read!

I wish more people would buy books and read them, then use discussion forums to discuss their readings...
