GNC fish oil is fine, it's slightly overpriced but it's got the right coating on the pills and it's filtered.

Enteric coating prevents fish burps.

I'm pretty sure most major brands have no mercury issues and I'm guessing most fish oil caps come out of the same facilities and just carry different labels just like most other mass produced supplements. For me, nothing beats the buy one get one free Walgreen's runs every week.

If Ive been getting fish burps with my latest bottle of enteric coated costco fish oil pills, does that mean theyre rancid? I started having them in the morning with a protein shake...etiher its this bottle, or mixing it with the milk in the shake, or something. Or theyre rancid.

Sonny, can i send you one to test out?

I think it's an individual thing. I still get mild fish burps from enteric coated caps, but not as bad as regular caps.

I've never had issues with rancidity when it comes to Costco's fish oil.

I've never get them as long as I take them with an actual meal.
