Getting bigger in the summer.

Hey guys, I am 19 and currently 172, got some fat on me (belly on, etc.), but I want to get bigger right now, becasue I wrestle in college in october or november and will have to start cutting weight, so I want to eat a lot now and get bigger. The current supplments I take are whey protien, fish oil, mutilvitamin. I am trying to eat a lot more lean maeat like chicken (not freid), trukey, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, egg whites, eggos, etcs. I have a couple of questions regarding bulking up. I got some info from this website. http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1268956

What is the caloire range I am looking at?
I am also worried about eating a lot and then becasue I eat a lot, expanidng my fat cells so I get fat easier. This is a HUGE worry, just because lets face it, noone wants that. Will this happen?

What type of supplements should I take aside from the ones I take there? I do work in gnc, but still dont have too much of a budget since I pay for alot of my things. I was thinking maybe a whey casein mix found at gnc? , or this weight gainer to take once in a while. http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...entPage=search I would try the cytogainer, but it has alittle amount of servings.
I was thinking about taking creatine, but I do not know too much about it, and In september I want to get a head start on cutting fat so I do it healthily, so I cant have all taht eextra water in my muscles.

How much calories should I have? I have read the stickies, and Urban seemed to mention in a parat that you should eat a larage vareity of things, including pizza, even ice cream if you want to. But wouldnt that make you fatter? I hear thats unhealthy, and in that article I posted it seems to mention that.

I do bjj 2-4 times a week, so I also keep the cardio up, I dont want to stop training, But I will try and eat more to replace that. I also work fri, sat, and sun, so I work 8 hour shift sometimes and it gets hard to eat a lot in between those hours. Maybe that weight gainer beofere I work to make up for it?

I have high cholestorl, but it is lower, and this is why I want to eat, clean, but a lot, so I can gain strenght to. I m noto worried about that.
Incase your wondering, my lifting routine is good, 3 rep DL, squats, Incline bench press, etc....

WHats the deal with BCAA? is this like a bodybuilder thing.

Sorry for all the questions, if anyone wants to pm me, thats cool. I learne d a lot from you guys (cut weight during wrestling season and didint put it all back ) If a knowledgable cool cat like Sonny can give suggestions and answeer these questions taht be sweet. Thanks a lot.

BCAA sups are more beneficial if you are losing weight. You should be able to get enough of them from solid proteins when bulking. Do a lean bulk to avoid getting fat. Lean proteins, healthy fats, whole grain and high fiber carbs; just lots of them. Try to get around 4000 cals a day. If you are worried about the water weight from creatine then dont bother with it. It can help build muscle, but depending on your training, it might just make you look bloated for a month or two. eat some whole eggs too, yolks have been shown to do a lot for muscle growth. but watch the overall intake of them because of the cholesterol. for work, take a turkey sandwich, an apple, some almonds, a PB&J, and a chicken breast with steamed veggies in a tupperware. when bulking you should be eating at least this much in an eight hour period. if you dont get enough breaks to do this, maybe the weight gainer isn't a bad idea for pre-work shake. but i would suggest getting in as many of these solid foods as you can during the work day. the supplements you take are similar to what i'm on. the only other sup i use is dermacrine; a topical testosterone booster. it is legal, but i dont know if you can use it as a college athlete. a friend of mine plays pro football, and i know that because it increases testosterone he isn't allowed to use it. i'm not too familiar with other sups they might have at gnc. i haven't bought anything from there in years just because i could always find the same thing cheaper online. were there any other sups you had in mind?

Thanks for the advice, I will defnitely start eating alot more of those. I eat like 3 protien bars when I can at work since I cant stopworking to eat until break. My workoiut schedule is 4 timesa week, 2 push (Squat, INBP, SOHP), and pull (DL, BOR, Pull ups). I dont know much about creatine and im worried about it hurting me. NO explode eventually I will take, but not this summer. THe ony supplements Im thinking about buying is the casein/whey mix, possibly the Massxxx. Aside from that, nothing at the moment, When I start cutting weight for wrestling, possibly hydroxycut, im I dont have too much fat on me, and i dont want to be getting sick. I dont fuck with testoserone boosters lol, but thanks. As long as I packsome muscle now. My big fear like I said is eating alot,, then later down the line packing fat easier because I started to eat a lot.

as long as you eat clean you shouldn't have any long term problems. creatine wont hurt you, but you'll gain water weight.

rugger got most of it.
im kind in the same boat as you, 6, and i range from 165-175lbs. the only difference is that i dont store a whole lot of fat.

bcaa's arent necissarily just for cutting, you can look into them if you have the $$$. keep up the good eating, just eat as much of the good stuff as you can, i wouldn't even worry about counting your calories. what does your veggie/fruit intake look like? how much water do you drink? protein bars are good, also look into getting some mixed nuts...they work wonders. try not to rely too heavily on supps until you got your diet down.

yeah, since i have money to spend on only essential supplements, i might invest in the weight gainer, and casein, and continue the whey. maybe a carb powder too, but i defnitely will start eating a lot. But will i get fatter afterwards when i in the future gain weight?

you will only get fat if you eat like crap, and you sound like you are eating good, so don't worry too much unless you notice something.
