Fiber in workout shakes

Does adding fiber to your shakes negatively or positively affect absorption of protein and other supplements?? I usually add ****mucil to all my shakes.

Why would you take fiber PWO? As for other times, I don't think there's a problem with it, but yeah, what Vedic said.

Well, why would you? You still haven't answered that. What you need directly after a workout is protein &, depending on who you talk to, simple carbs. (That's a complete other debate that you can search if you're interested. Look for waxy maize if you are.) If you're worried about not getting enough fiber, eat more green, leafy veggies and maybe fruit.

i dont know why i would. i dont know why its better pre work out. i was kind of hoping someone would explain. the only reason i do it is because its convenient. kind of new to supplementing fiber so break it down.

It's no better PWO then any other time in the day. After a workout, you need simple carbs and fast absorbing (whey is good) protein. If you want some extra fiber with it, throw in some oats. After a workout I usually mix milk, whey, and oats; it tastes good and it has basically everything you need PWO, waxy maize also goes good with it.
