My friend raves about Cell Tech and I'm thinking about trying this homemade formula out, but before that I decided to look around at what I have in my room. I have some Gatorade instant mix powder that I normally mix with my creatine post workout anyways. Ingredients include sucrose and dextrose. The total grams of sugar per serving is 13g. Figuring that the article recommends 35g of dextrose per serving, and each serving size of the gatorade powder is 1 tbsp, where I put 1.5 scoops (each scoop is about 1.5 tbsp, so 2.25 tbsp, and a total of 29.25g of sugar), would upping the amount of gatorade powder per serving be a good idea to get somewhere near the suggested dextrose amount? I figure the dextrose per serving must be significant if it's the second ingredient listed, and not counting any other sugars in the ingredients list, I would imagine the amount of dextrose per serving is greater than 0 and less than 6.5.
Assuming the grams of dextrose per serving to be 6.5 or less, then the amount I intake with my normal creatine drink would be 14.625 grams or less, so I'd have to more than double the amount of powder I use, at best. Is it worth it to up the powder amount? Is it worth it to make the homemade Cell Tech? Or should I just stick with my Gatorade/creatine drink?
