cottage cheese

what do you guys eat with it?

i cannot stand to eat it, the smell and texture make it very hard for me swallow it.

what are some good things to mix with it to make it edible?

ha - I started eating cottage cheese when I started losing weight and had the same problem.

i knew it was good for me and that i had to learn to like it.... try mixing in fresh berries. my personal favorites are blueberries and strawberries or raspberries. Also, to help you get used to the texture, get some wheat crackers and use that to scoop it

it took me a couple weeks, but i learned to like it and eat it almost every day still as part of my lunch

edit: i've also heard of people mixing a little flavored whey protein in with it. never tried it myself and it wouldnt help with the texture, but could help with flavor

Try mixing a good yogurt with it as well. I like about 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt mixed with about 1 cup cottage cheese.

Or like ^^he said, berries. Other fruits as well. Pineapple is good...
