I found this article interesting, because I have noticed the same thing recently.

Celiac Disease Cases Are on the Rise

We had my wife tested a couple of years ago because she was having bad symptoms and the doctors weren't figuring it out. She was about 30 when her symptoms really started.

No history of celiac disease in her family. It leaves me to speculate about other possible reasons for the rise.

i was also 30 when my symptoms really started - although i suspect mine are more mild than many. i usually just get a bit of cramps, diarrhea and strangely, can feel every single twitch inside my stomach/intestinal tract...but that's it really.
